Anne McGregor Parsons
Principal of Word PR Anne McGregor Parsons spent 20 years in publishing, from her start at Boston Magazine through five years as editor in chief of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles for a nuanced understanding of the editorial side of the magazine business. Her past freelance writing includes helping with the launch of Natural Home magazine and a stint as Design columnist for ColoradoBiz. Parsons made the switch to PR during Word PR + Marketing’s early years, turning her pen to public relations writing for clients that is consistently well-received by editors and journalists. Parsons’ past client work includes successfully branding Natural Habitat Adventures as the first carbon neutral travel company and snagging multiple Trip of a Lifetime honors from National Geographic Traveler magazine for them and Africa Adventure Consultants, and her launch campaign for ultra-luxe ecolodge The Lodge at Sun Ranch won the firm a national PR award for “Best Travel, Hospitality & Destinations Campaign.” Parsons serves as PR lead for the Antlers at Vail hotel, Civitas urban design and landscape architecture, Kibler & Kirch interior design in Montana and Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa in Mammoth Lakes, California. She lives in Denver with her husband and two daughters — and two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers – affording a true insider’s view of the family travel market with every vacation.
Senior Associate Amy Stark came to Jackson by way of Los Angeles, where she worked in television production for many years. Amy has worked for a variety of production companies, and has traveled much of the country producing unscripted series for networks such as Vh1, CBS, TLC, HGTV, Fox and Logo. A long-time fan of Jackson, Amy and her dog Maggie decided to trade in the beach for the mountains. Amy manages the Jackson Hole office and social media for Word PR + Marketing, serving as PR lead for Wyoming clients including the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, ElkFest, Old West Days and the Western Design Conference, as well as Brooks Lake Lodge & Spa and WRJ Design. She can often be spotted attending – and photographing – Jackson events. She appreciates exploring all things creative and enjoys outdoor activities including skiing, hiking and golf.
Former editor in chief of Big Sky Journal and editor emeritus of Western Art & Architecture magazines, Seabring Davis has worked in publishing as an editor and lifestyle journalist for 20 years from her home base in Livingston, Montana. Her articles have been published in magazines including Mountain Living, AAA Mountainwest and Montana Living and she has authored a number of books, including The New Montana Cabin, showcasing regional trends in architecture and design (Globe Pequot 2008), and three guidebooks. For Word PR, she serves as PR lead for JLF Architects. As co-owner of a historic hotel and resort in Montana, she parlays her expertise in the hospitality industry into a specialty for writing about cooking, interior spaces and travel. When not tapping away at the keyboard, she spends her time biking, hiking and floating the Yellowstone River and obsesses over foraging for wild mushrooms.
